The Titans Robotics Club had it’s official FRC kickoff during January 6th which included the yearly FRC Challenge and Game Manual release. After watching the release video, the FRC team dispersed into 6 groups where each group dove into one subtopic included in the manual. Then, once each group had finished analyzing their subtopic, they presented the most significant aspects of it to the rest of the FRC team. Lastly, when each group completed presenting, the FRC team started to strategize the aspects of the robot they wanted to focus on, such as speed, height, etc.
The Titans FRC team can’t wait to reveal the robot during competitions!

After our normal build season ended in March, our team introduced a new activity to further our exploration of the STEM field. Team members split into small groups to select, research, or create a project they are interested in. There were no specific requirements other than building upon STEM skills - teams were allowed to design their projects any way they wanted to. After about a month’s work, the small teams presented their work to the rest of the club to celebrate their progress and learning. Here are some of the projects worked on by TRC students.

Bios of Zac and Thaddaeus:
Zac - As an attorney in HCMP’s Real Estate Group, Zac primarily focuses his practice on real estate transactions. He is also well-trained in dispute resolution. He attended Pepperdine University.
Thaddaeus - Thaddaeus is a lawyer at Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson whose practice focuses on land use and environmental law. His practice involves helping clients navigate federal, state, and local land use regulations before and during project development. Thaddaeus is a graduate of Carleton College and University of Michigan Law School. In his free time, he enjoys hikes with his dog and community involvement with organizations such as Rainier Scholars.
